October General Membership Meeting - Fall Bulbs for Spring Blooms by Carol Bradbeck

Carol is a Degreed Biologist, a Certified Advanced Master Gardener with >2,000 community service hours. She is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc with an Accredited Five Star (Master Gardening, Landscape Design, and Environmental Consultant and Master Flower Show Judge). Carol is a former State President of the Michigan Garden Clubs. She is part-time faculty at Washtenaw Community College.

Carol has been presenting on gardening and nature-related topics to diverse audiences (ages, backgrounds, educational levels, organizations, etc.) for over 25 years in person and the last five years via Zoom.

Come and explore together the various types of spring-flowering neophytes (bulbs, corms, tubers, rhizomes and tuberous roots.) The planning selection, the growing conditions required purchasing, storing, until soil is at a correct temperature, planting, maintenance, requirements during their 12-month growing cycle and some history and legends included.
